GAPTEQ organizes all objects used in an application (pages, data layers, files, etc.) in an object tree. For each object, the “Find Usage” function can be used to output the pages on which the corresponding objects are used.
What does the “Find Usage” function do?This simple but very useful functionality helps to find out where certain objects are used, e.g. to
- check whether an object is used / linked or whether it can be deleted
- find out where grids or forms may need to be added/updated after a data layer has been updated
- and much more.
- Right-click on an object in the object tree to call up the "Find Usage" option
- All pages on which this object is used are displayed as the result
