In a GAPTEQ application, you can give individual users or user groups different access rights to the components used. For example, you can control who can see, edit or delete which data.
In this article you will read the following content:
Access rights in the properties of the component
1. Access rights in the properties of the component
- In the properties window of the placed component, you will find the option to define or edit access rights for the component under “Access”.
- Click on the “Add” button to open the configuration dialog.
2. Configure access rights
- All actions available for this component are available for selection under “Allowed actions”.
- Under “Add User/Group”, the users and groups for which the selection of Allowed actions is valid are selected.
- Then confirm with “OK”.
- An additional rights combination with user/user group assignment is created by clicking on “Add” again (in the example, only Row Click and Read Data are selected for the group “Role_Default_User” for Allowed actions).
All defined rights are listed here and can be edited or deleted.
Tip! You can read how to set access rights at page level in the article Access rights at page level.
