Set predefined logout URL
In GAPTEQ-Designer, a logout address can be defined, i.e., it is determined to which website a user is redirected after logging out of the web front end. This allows the logout process to be specifically adapted to company or project requirements.
1. Typical use cases & advantages
Typical use cases include:
-
Redirection to the company website → uniform and controlled logout process
-
Return to a central portal
-
Display of an information or login page
-
Integration into existing SSO or authentication flow
2. Configuration in GAPTEQ Designer
-
In the “Repository configurations” of GAPTEQ Designer, you will find the “Logout address” item under the “General” tab.
-
The URL stored here is automatically called up after logout.
Tip! This URL is defined globally for the web front end. If no logout URL is specified, the default mode (i.e., Repository Selector Page) or a preset repository is used. The predefined URL is only used when logout is active—not when the session times out.
