Depending on the licensing mode, you can cancel your GAPTEQ server license at the appropriate times. Cancellation takes place via the GAPTEQ Designer (on-premise) or via the GAPTEQ portal (cloud).
1. Cancel GAPTEQ BUSINESS version (Cloud)
- Open the GAPTEQ-Portal and navigate to your subscriptions. There you will find the “Terminate” option.
- Depending on the licensing mode (annual / monthly), you will already be given the next possible termination date.
Note! In the annual billing mode, you can cancel with one month's notice to the end of the one-year term. If you pay monthly, you can cancel at the end of the respective calendar month.
- By entering a security code, you finally confirm the final termination of your subscription.
Attention! The cloud instance will cease operation at the time of termination and all data will be deleted. If you still need your data, remember to create backups in good time and store them locally!
2. Cancel GAPTEQ BUSINESS version (onPremise)
Note! You can cancel the GAPTEQ BUSINESS version (onPremise) both via the GAPTEQ portal and the GAPTEQ Designer.
Cancellation via the GAPTEQ Portal is similar to point 1, cancellation via the GAPTEQ Designer is described below.
- Open the GAPTEQ Designer and go to the “Terminate” licensing option via the “Licencing” menu item in the top bar. A licensing assistant will then open.
- The first step is to authenticate yourself with the access data you used to register on the GAPTEQ-Portal.
- Then select the desired termination date, which will be suggested to you in the drop-down field depending on the licensing mode.
Note! In the annual billing mode, you can cancel with one month's notice to the end of the one-year term, in the monthly payment mode to the end of the respective calendar month.
